Starting to penetrate the international automotive industry since 2013, BAIC has established its business network in 49 countries and 10 of them have their own factories, starting in March 2024 it officially set foot in Indonesia in collaboration with PT JDI (JIO Distribusi Indonesia) as the official distributor of BAIC in Indonesia.

Currently, BAIC Indonesia has officially collaborated and has 13 dealership networks covering locations in several major cities in Indonesia, namely Jakarta, Tangerang, Surabaya, Medan, Bali, Bandung, Pekanbaru, Samarinda & Batam which serve Sales, Service & Spare Parts.

As a form of commitment to its business in Indonesia, in collaboration with PT Handal Indonesia Motor, BAIC will be produced locally starting in 2025.
